A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Proverbs 15:23. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Proverbs 25:11. What comes out of our mouth
is so very important, especially when we have the opportunity to
counsel or be a spiritual help to someone. According to Proverbs
15:23 it is a joyful thing to be able to answer someone and to speak
a word to them. In Proverbs 25:11 it says that it is like apples of
gold..; it is a tradition or a common practice to give someone who
is sick a fruit basket, how much more is it a gift to give a word
that is fitly spoken. Proverbs 16:24 says,
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to
the bones. The answer should come
from the Lord. Proverbs 16:1 says, The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue,
is from the LORD. And Isaiah 50:4
says, The Lord GOD hath given me
the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in
season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he
wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
And II Timothy 4:2 says,
Preach the word; be instant in season, out
of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and
doctrine. We must be dilligent to
study the Word of God (II Timothy 2:15) to prepare our hearts to
bring forth fruit in our own lives.
But that on the good ground are they,
which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it,
and bring forth fruit with patience. -
Luke 8:15. We do not want to have
perverse and corrupt things in our hearts, because they will come
out. Luke 6:45, A good man out of
the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth
that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth
speaketh. Well, I hope this has been a blessing to you; until next time may the Lord bless you. Sis. Tanya
