"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs
together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered." 1 Peter 3:7 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in
the transgression." 1 Timothy 2:14
I want to look at a woman's weaknesses, and yes, ladies we have weaknesses contrary to popular women's rights movements think. It is not
"I am woman hear me roar"; that is totally wrong and is a "high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God" (II Corinthians 10:4)
not to mention rebellious. You are not the neck that turns the head either, do you know why? Because the woman is the weaker vessel and she
is easily deceived. Look at our verses above; the Bible says that the woman was deceived and that she was in a transgression. The Devil came to
Eve and stroked her pride, played on her emotions and deceived her, but Adam was not decieved and when she handed him the fruit, he partook of it
willingly with his eyes wide open knowing of the consequences. The woman is the weaker vessel but we don't like to admit it and most of us are not
on guard against being deceived. Whether we like to admit it or not, God has made us to be weak, to need protection, to need guidance and even
spiritual discernment at times and He has provided a man, whether it be a husband or a father to keep us from being deceived. That is one reason
why a woman should never preach, teach or usurp authority over a man. That is talked about in the passage of I Timothy 2 in verses 11 & 12,
"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in
silence." The Devil will always puff us up in pride or he will play on our emotions using our flesh to deceive us. Study the passage there in
Genesis 3. The first thing that the Devil did was to put doubt in Eve's mind about what God had said and that is exactly the way he tries to
deceive us. He may use a person to  do it; young ladies, don't let some slick tongued man tell you how good you look and show you a little
attention and deceive you. Until next time may the Lord bless you.
