"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

Burdens are everywhere. Everywhere you turn, everyone that you talk to is bearing some kind of a burden. What are these burdens? Well, they come in many different forms, but the Bible says in Exodus 1:11, "Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens."
Burdens are afflictions that we all must bear; some of us bear personal burdens whether it be physical, spiritual, etc. Some of us bear burdens
of great concern for the welfare of other people, such as a child or parent, etc. And there are many other kinds of burdens, but you know the
burdens that you are carrying yourself at this time. And they are all necessary for one thing. Exodus 1:12 says "But the more they afflicted
them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel." The burdens are to make us grow and multiply and
on a side note, they make us grievous to the children of disobedience. The burdens cause us to rely more upon the Lord, and the Lord uses them
to convict and save others who watch us bear the burdens with the Lord's help. Also, the Lord uses our burdens to be an encouragment to someone
else who is bearing the same or a similar burden. It is all for God's glory and for our benefit. All the burdens are to help conform us to the
image of the Lord Jesus Christ. And He does not leave us to bear them alone, he told us in I Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he
careth for you." And, just like he promised the children of Israel in Exodus 6:6&7, "Exodus 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I
am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you
with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I
am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians." Then in Psalm 81:6, "I removed his shoulder from the
burden: his hands were delivered from the pots." The Lord is Good. Until next time, may the Lord bless you.
