HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A 19 YEAR OLD PASTOR??
Brother Russell Osborne, of Milton Florida is a young man in whom The Lord is using in a mighty way! Teenager, I want you to read this young man's Testimony. If YOU will let go and let God direct your life, the possibilities are endless what God will do with a young man sold out for God!
"My name is Russell Osborne. To sum it all up, I was
a nobody headed nowhere until the Lord got a hold of
me. I'm still a nobody, but now I'm headed somewhere.
I have been born and raised in church. My mother took
me to church the week after I was born. Although I
lived with my mother, I spent most of my time with my
grandpa, who started a church in Milton,Fl. in the
year 1991. I have been in church all of my life, but
as a 9 year old boy, God began to deal with me about
my eternal soul. I thought I was doing alright by
being in church three times a week, but I needed to be
saved. At 9 years old I asked the Lord to save me from
hell! It shocked everybody, because everybody thought
I was saved because there wasn't a time in my life
when I was not taken to church. To make a long story
short, I was called to preach shortly after, and the
Lord just began to open doors. I have had plenty of
opportunities to preach with Bro. Blankenship in local
juvenile facilities as well as doing a little bit of
evangelistic work. On July 4th, after much prayer,
sweat, and tears, I was unanimously voted in as pastor
of the Bible Believers Baptist church in Defuniak
Springs, Fl. Many people have told me that at 19 years
old, I am way too young to pastor or even have a
pulpit ministry, but the Lord is graciously using me.
We have over tripled the attendance since I have been
pastor and have seen people saved and encouraged and
the Saviour exalted. I am just glad to be a part of
the work of the Lord! It has been a great honour to
have Bro.Blankenship and his family as my friends for
several years now. They have been a great
encouragement to this young preacher!
